The data controller is myCookSnap, available through the website, web app and PWA at https://mycooksnap.com.

For privacy, personal data, account deletion, data export or rights requests, write to info@mycooksnap.com.

• Account data: email, user ID, login provider, account dates, session and security data.
• Profile data: display name, username, photo, bio, language, country, units, food preferences, diet, allergies or intolerances provided by the user.
• Recipes and cookbook data: titles, categories, servings, times, ingredients, quantities, method, notes, tags, favorites, images, estimated nutrition, Nutri-Score, source links, print, export and sharing data.
• Shopping list data: added ingredients, source recipe, image, date and list state.
• Uploaded content: links, copied text, notes, PDFs, photos, screenshots and step images.
• Technical data: IP address, user agent, browser, operating system, logs, errors, necessary cookies and session identifiers.

To improve speed, reliability and costs, myCookSnap may store technical data about imported sources such as original URL, resolved URL, normalized URL, source type, source key, content hash, import date and last use.

This cache is used to recognize already imported sources and is not used for individual advertising profiling.

myCookSnap uses Supabase Auth for registration, login, email confirmation, password recovery, sessions and external login providers.

You can sign in with email/password or Google. With Google, we may receive email, provider ID, display name and profile photo if available.

myCookSnap uses AI providers such as OpenAI or equivalent services to capture recipes from links, text, PDFs, photos or screenshots, generate recipes with Chef AI and normalize ingredients, quantities and methods.

We send only the content needed for the requested function. Do not enter unnecessary personal, health, financial or child-related data.

AI answers may contain mistakes. Always check ingredients, allergens, quantities, timing, temperatures, storage, nutrition and food safety.

We may send operational emails for account, password reset, security, subscriptions, payments, important service changes and support.

Newsletters, tips, recipes, offers and promotional messages are sent only with consent where required. We may use Resend or equivalent services.

If you activate a paid plan, we may process plan, subscription status, dates, renewals, cancellations, payment state, essential transaction history, customer IDs and billing data.

myCookSnap does not store full card data. Payments are handled by external providers such as Stripe, PayPal or equivalent services.

Necessary cookies are used for login, security, sessions, essential preferences and technical operation. Analytics, user experience and marketing tools are enabled according to consent and configuration.

We may use Vercel Analytics, Google Ads with Consent Mode v2 and, if enabled, Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, Hotjar or equivalent tools.

• Vercel for hosting, deployment, technical analytics and Speed Insights.
• OpenAI or equivalents for AI features.
• Resend or equivalents for email.
• Stripe, PayPal or equivalents for payments.
• Google, Meta, Hotjar or equivalents if enabled.

We keep data for as long as needed for the purposes described: account data while active, recipes while stored, payments according to tax/accounting duties, and technical logs usually for limited periods unless security requires longer.

You can request access, export, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, consent withdrawal and provider or transfer information by writing to info@mycooksnap.com.

myCookSnap is not intended for children under 16. Recipe, allergen and nutrition information is estimated and does not replace a doctor, nutritionist or qualified professional.

We may update this policy for service, provider, feature or legal changes. The update date is shown at the top.
